Damian Clark: Edinburgh Fringe 2018 interview

Hello. How are you today?

Better than ever. Not too hungover and about to get a full fry up breakfast…at 4pm

At this stage, how closely does your programme blurb match the content of your show?

My blurbs are usually pretty vague, for good reason! I don’t like saying the show is about any particular thing, cause if I’m having fun with the crowd or go on a tangent or two we may never get to it. I like going with whatever I think is the funniest avenue at the time.

Who are you sharing a flat with and how will you help each other survive the month?

Eleanor Tiernan & Micky Bartlett – I’m imagining lots of tea and counselling each other in the kitchen everyday.

Any shows you’re excited about seeing?

Heidi Regan – Heidi vs Sharks

Other than the great shows, what else are you looking forward to about your trip to Edinburgh this year?

Heaps of tea, Irn Bru and heaps of whisky (not together)

The Fringe’s tagline this year is ‘Into The Unknown’. What do people not know about you?

That I’m three koalas on top of each other dressed as a person. Ssssshhhhh 😉

I’m bored of all the podcasts I currently subscribe to. Can you recommend me a good one please?

Listen to AC/DCs full back catalogue, you’ll be flying

Here’s a space to write about anything you want. Go for it.

If there are any mediums and spirit guides out there, ask the people beyond the grave if there is an after life, which Earth religion is the closest and what phone charger do they use.
