Josh Glanc: Edinburgh Fringe 2018 interview

Hello. How are you today?

Well. How are you?

At this stage, how closely does your programme blurb match the content of your show?

Its entirely made up of review quotes so its pretty accurate.

Who are you sharing a flat with and how will you help each other survive the month?

Joey Page, Tom Walker, Demi Lardner. Every Sunday we will have a laugh circle to bond. You know, when everyone’s in a circle and one person starts laughing and everyone just joins in. Its a lot of fun and a great way to connect.

Any shows you’re excited about seeing?

Bubbles have been really topical this year, so I’m pretty keen to see all the shows dealing with that issue, like Bubble Trouble, The Amazing Bubble Man, Bubble and Squeeze. There’s also Milkshake and the Bubble Flower, but I think that could be more about milkshakes, I’m not sure.

Other than the great shows, what else are you looking forward to about your trip to Edinburgh this year?

Making lots of money. And of course, the annual pash-a-thon outside the Monkey Barrel on the 8th of August. That’s always a good time.

The Fringe’s tagline this year is ‘Into The Unknown’. What do people not know about you?

Most people at the Edinburgh Fringe wont know whether they’ll like me or not, but I promise that they all will because I’m a sweet beautiful boy.

I’m bored of all the podcasts I currently subscribe to. Can you recommend me a good one please?

I can’t recommend bubble podcasts enough: Bubble in my Pocket, the Bubble Man, Bubble Two and Bubble Me. All deal pretty concisely with bubble issues.

Here’s a space to write about anything you want. Go for it.

Cuba Gooding Jr is one of the finest actors in Hollywood. A lot of people dismiss him, because usually he’s cast in a film to provide a bit of comic relief, or he usually plays a minor character that helps propel the protagonist’s story. But his performance as FBI Agent John Nelson in Absolute Deception is really incredible.
