This New Orleans native tells a story of heartbreak, natural disasters, and celebrating the one thing that unites us all: human flaw.

At this stage, how closely does your programme blurb match the content of your show?

I think pretty much spot on. I just wrote that blurb yesterday!

Have the momentous events of 2016 affected your comedy in any way?

The events of 2016 have affected me personally, and all of my comedy comes from my personal life, so yes indeed.

Who are you sharing a flat with this festival and how will you help each other survive the month?

I can’t tell you whom I’m sharing a flat with because you’re a stranger and my parents warned me about you!

Other than the great shows, what else are you looking forward to about your trip to Edinburgh this year?

Drinking real scotch in actual Scotland.

What celebrity death hit you the hardest in 2016 (mine was Wogan)?

Hahahaha! That’s funny, but we all know celebrities don’t really die. They go live on an uncharted Island in the Gulf of Yeti.

Here’s a space to write about anything you want. Go for it.

Last night I drank a lot of IPA in Oslo, Norway and I wet the bed. This is a safe place right?
