Hello. How are you today?
I’ve just filled the kettle over the max fill line so I’m feeling pretty alive right now – anything could happen.
At this stage, how closely does your programme blurb match the content of your show?
I’m not like one of these loser comedians who keeps their options open by writing a vague blurb – I went specific – the show is called The Cheese Of Truth, it’s standup interspersed with my Vine videos and a mystical cheese related story running through it.
What are your tips for getting people to see your show?
Wear a big smile especially when it’s raining.
Who are you sharing a flat with this festival and how will you help each other survive the month?
I have a two room apartment with a selection of non-comedian visitors coming to stay throughout the month, I shall be entertaining them with home cooking and games of strip-subbuteo.
Any shows you’re particularly excited about seeing?
I want to see as many fellow debut hour boys and girls as I can: Jamali Maddix, Jack Barry, Jenny Collier and others that don’t start with J.
Other than the great shows, what else are you looking forward to about your trip to Edinburgh this year?
Macaroni cheese pies from the place on the bridge
Salt and sauce on your chips?
Salt and vinegar and maybe mayo but only to dip – not all over.
Here’s a space to write about anything you want. Go for it.
Do your time, keep your head down, keep your nose clean and you’ll be out in 3 to 4 weeks.
