Hello. How are you today?
I am wonderful. How are you?
At this stage, how closely does your programme blurb match the content of your show?
It’s about spot on. The show has evolved a bit…there’s a been a few things going on in the UK that are hard to ignore. But it will still be Aatificially intelligent.
What are your tips for getting people to see your show?
Clear your schedule. I will envelop your mind and bodily functions for many many days. Nah, just come and enjoy the show. It’s fun. I like it. And I have impeccable taste.
Who are you sharing a flat with this festival and how will you help each other survive the month?
I like to do this thing where I softly sing George Michael songs through the very thin walls of my flat to lull my fellow comics into a deep and relaxing slumber. Then I pump the drum n bass innit.
Any shows you’re particularly excited about seeing?
So many. If I started naming them all, you’d have to rename Laugh Out London to Laugh Out London and Aatif’s friends in Edinburgh this year. And let’s be honest…it’s not catchy.
Other than the great shows, what else are you looking forward to about your trip to Edinburgh this year?
Four words: Deep Fried Mars Bars
Salt and sauce on your chips?
What? Are you nuts? It’s peri peri sauce. Always peri peri sauce. Come on LOL. You’re better than that.
Here’s a space to write about anything you want. Go for it.
I had a wonderful time at last year’s Fringe and everyone, critics, audiences, my peers, everyone was really nice about my show. And I really appreciated that. I’m back this year with another show which is my unofficial love letter to this wonderful festival. Come. We’ll hang. It’s the smart choice. Aatificial Intelligence.
