Hello. How are you today?
I’m good thank you! Just had a lovely lunch with the brilliant Steve Hall in Glasgow. I’m working at The Stand this weekend [This interview was written in July; Paul isn’t a time-traveller – Ed].
At this stage, how closely does your programme blurb match the content of your show?
I kept the blurb in the programme vague for that very reason. So yes, it does.
What are your tips for getting people to see your show?
The food at my venue (the amazing City Cafe) is legendary, so I’m hoping people will come for the food and stay for the comedy.
Who are you sharing a flat with this festival and how will you help each other survive the month?
Matt Forde and Lloyd Langford. I’ve always lived with Fordy in Edinburgh and we tend to watch a lot of bad British gangster films while we’reup there, that passes the time
Any shows you’re particularly excited about seeing?
Both of theirs obviously, they are both excellent. I’m going to try and see lots this year, I’ve been a bit slack on that front in previous years.
Salt and sauce on your chips?
Here’s a space to write about anything you want. Go for it.
I’m going to have a nap, that lunch was excessive!
