We very excited about the return of one of our favourite American comics Jen Kirkman to London. Jen will be at the Soho Theatre until Saturday 21st November in the lovely downstairs cabaret bar.
We caught Jen’s sell-out run at the Soho theatre in 2013 which revolved around single life after her divorce, the perils of dating younger men and how her parent’s relationship made her what she is today. Since then she has recorded her stand up special “I’m Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine)” filmed for Netflix. It’s a pretty great watch…
Jen has appeared on a string of acclaimed US TV shows including Chelsea Lately, Drunk History, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan O’Brian and John Oliver’s New York Stand-Up Show. She also has a rather addictive podcast “I Seem Fun” which is refreshingly unedited and open.
She’s somehow has found time to pen a New York Times Best seller “I Can Barely Take Care Of Myself: Tales of a Happy Life Without Kids”, with her second novel due for release next year.
She’s pretty much one of the finest stand-ups in the US and you would be pretty silly to miss her.
