Spencer Jones has found a distinct character in The Herbert, a playful idiot that’s part Mr Bean and part dickhead. He’s been tipped by almost everyone we know. So get those tickets now.
Hello. How are you today?
Sat in my pants at the kitchen table sweating, wondering where I am going to find the other 12 minutes I need to make my show a full show. Longer intro and outro music should sort it….
Are you ready for another month of Edinburgh Fringe action?
What could possible go wrong? I have my whole family with me, including the Budgies Dirk and Ernie. We brought up spices with us so we can make curry out of food people leave on the street. I cooked a Badger last year. Beautiful. Tasted a bit like Fox.
At this stage, how closely does your programme blurb match the content of your show?
Hang on I’ll just read it…..Some how its spot on but at the same time nothing like it. Vague is good!
What are your tips for getting people to see your show?
Phone up everyones Mums and get them on board. If Mums up for it then the rest of the family will follow. (my venue is over 18’s apparently, so it wont be young families)
Is there anyone in particular you’d like to see in your audience?
There is but they can’t come. Gutted.
Who are you sharing a flat with this festival and how will you help each other survive the month?
The whole family. The lady and our 4 month old woman child and the 2 year old man child. We also have a spare bed in the living room so my plumber is coming up for a couple days. He’s a proper laugh. But he’s naughty, proper naughty.
Other than the great shows, what else are you looking forward to about your trip to Edinburgh this year?
I’m gonna go up that massive hill and look down on the city and shout: I LOVE YOU EDINBURGH YOU MAKE ME…..(then I will stop because someone is coming with their children…. oh… they’re my children.)
What’s your topping at The Baked Potato Shop on Cockburn Street?
I have very simple tastes. I like mine with a snickers rammed in, on rye.
Here’s a space to write about anything you want. Go for it.
Thanks for having me on. I love you. xxxxxxx
