Paul F Taylor is a major emerging talent in UK comedy as evidenced by his victory at the New Act of the Year Awards last year.
Now he’s set to prove just how incredible he is at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Hallo Paul. How are you today?
I’m good, thank you for asking.
Your show is called The Incredible Paul F Taylor. What’s the most incredible thing you can do?
I once managed to hold my breath from start to finish as I drove through The Blackwall tunnel, there was pretty heavy traffic too. It was nearly The Blackout tunnel for me.
What can we expect from the show?
A healthy helping of my trademark offbeat observational nonsense, with the addition of an over the top filmic storyline! If you’re lucky you may even get some humour suppressing medication. But you’ll have to come to the show to work out what I mean by that.
What made you choose to do a free show this year?
The cost. I’d love to be doing my show in one of the cool big venues where you get to walk around with a lanyard on your neck and you get invited to all the cool parties but frankly I literally have absolutely no money, so I’ve gone free. Which personally I think is a very reasonable price.
What else are you looking forward to in Edinburgh this year?
There’s loads of great shows going up this year. Adam Riches is returning with a new show. Which is frankly as far as I’m concerned is mandatory viewing.
Here’s a space to write about anything you want. Go for it:
