Comedy Central has announced the line-up of the second season of the Stewart Lee curated Alternative Comedy Experience, and it includes some major favourites of Laugh Out London.
Joining series one regulars, such as Josie Long and Henning Wehn, are a younger generation of brilliant stand-ups, including Grainne Maguire, Lou Sanders and Nish Kumar (who is previewing his next Edinburgh Fringe show in a double-bill with Sara Pascoe on July 25 in Camden).
Completing the line-up of newcomers are Kevin Eldon, Michael Legge, Ginger & Black, Liam Mullone and John Hegley.
In addition to Long and Wehn, other returning comics are Tony Law, Isy Suttie, David Kay, Simon Munnery, Maeve Higgins, David O’Doherty, Paul Foot and Bridget Christie (who is previewing her next Edinburgh Fringe show in a double-bill with Richard Herring on June 29 in Camden).
The show will be recorded at The Stand comedy club in Edinburgh from July 8, 2013, and will be broadcast in early 2014.
