Someone: What’s that? A Laugh Out London podcast without a hitch? You must be joking emperor!

Emperor: No. I am not joking.

The emperor is not joking! Celebrate. For yes, we have done and recorded a podcast with no technical problems I have spotted so far. I’ve even done some compression and normalisation so it should sound even sexier than usual. Thanks Audacity!

Anyway, this podcast saw us head to the truly brilliant working man’s, pork pie and blazer experience that is Bob and Jim’s Sunday Best at the Cavendish Arms near Stockwell – next one is May 15th!

While there, we managed to talk to primary coloured sketch chaps Clever Peter, including about how best to tackle heckles when in character. They (well one of them anyway) will be at the Great Big Sketch Off this weekend, which you really should go to if you care about things. I’ll be in Scotland. I have an excuse.

Elsewhere, we have a chat with the lovely, lovely, lovely ‘character comic’ Spencer Jones who once dressed up as a baby on CBBC.

And Bostonian man of a thousand weirdos, Chris Coxen, makes a welcome appearance too.

The wonderful Holly Burn was also performing, but escaped our interviewing tentacles. Such sticky tentacles.

All in all, a fab showing. Jack even natters on about a magical Subbutteo table he had as a child. Can you feel the entertainment?
