Wow! Episode 2 and we’re already talking to some of the brightest names in UK comedy.
We were lucky enough to find ourselves at the Art Uncut event in the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town, which promised an evening of art, comedy, music and talks in response to the coalition government’s efforts to cut the deficit by stripping the population of public services.
We managed to speak to some of the comedy contingent involved, including the wonderful Josie Long, Jay Foreman and Chris Coltrane, and find out why they wanted to be involved in such an evening.
Tom from UK Uncut also offered a quick explanation of this exciting movement, and why we should all be taking part in Occupy the Alternative on March 26th, which includes the awesome sounding Stand Up For The Alternative, where a bank is set to be turned into a comedy club.
Enjoy!
